Description
Qualifications:
- Completed 4 year Apprenticeship Training or previous experience building/repairing metal stamping dies for 8 years
- Owns own tools
- Knowledge of basic TR equipment and machinery
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with all the Anchor Principles and Guidelines, as well as Anchor policies and procedures.
- Capable of taking on multiple jobs at once
- Operated Bridgeports, machining centers, and all TR equipment safely and efficiently
- Eliminate all problems or re-occurring problems
- Be capable of trouble shooting in press repairs
- Work with Engineering to develop concepts for improvements to tooling
- Training of apprentices
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes
- Document all work done to dies
- Develop a history of dies
- Perform PMs according to the schedule
- Perform their daily clean up in their designated areas
