ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST/GEOLOGIST
Established and growing employee-owned environmental consulting firm has immediate need for an Environmental Scientist team member for our San Joaquin County office. Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be resourceful. This position will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and projects including coordinating and managing environmental, stormwater and industrial hygiene-related investigations, performance of field work and preparation of reports. The position is a combination of project/task/subcontractor management, field work, data analysis/data organization and technical document preparation.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s in an appropriate field and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational skills, problem solving abilities and effective communication skills will be required.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor's in geology or related earth science field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with good communication, analytical, organization, and time management skills
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive a company vehicle
- Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with co-workers, clients and subcontractors
- Able to meet deadlines, both internally and externally
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Climb ladders, carry equipment (up to 50 lbs), manage, and oversee construction sites; and be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment, including respirators.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
