Emergency Crisis Stabilization Counselor

In addition to direct client care, QMHP’s are responsible for coordinating services according to clients’ treatment plans, facilitating, engaging families in crisis intervention and stabilization services to provide complete wrap-around services, and facilitating admissions and discharge preparation from the program. Experience providing Crisis Stabilization services and/or knowledge of community mental health services and resources are preferred for this position. Other job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Coordinate the development and timely submission of Individualized Service Plans and all other required program documentation
· Maintain and ensure compliance with DBHDS and Medicaid standard
· Ensure all Serious Incident Reports are completed within 24-hours
· Meet with clinical supervisor weekly to staff and assign/reassign cases
· Perform client file audits as needed to ensure compliance with all Medicaid and DBHDS standards
· Ensure safety planning is completed on day 1 of service initiation due to the acute nature of symptoms and short admission time period
· Ensure all Human Rights reportable incidents are investigated and reported according to agency policies and all necessary steps are taken to protect clients'
· Adhere to all agency’s policies/procedures and complete other tasks assigned by Crisis Supervisor and Program Director for successful operation of the program
**Must obtain QMHP registration from the Virginia Board of Counseling
**Must have reliable transportation
**Must possess a valid driver's license
**Must be able to obtain an official copy of your college transcript
**Must possess ACTIVE valid car insurance coverage

23- Hour Crisis Stabilization – Crisis Receiving Center (Full-Time)/ MCR Services at ACE:
This position is a Full-Time Employment opportunity that offers Full-Time benefits for Dual 23-hour Crisis Stabilization/ MCR Services for experienced individuals and the discretion of the interviewee. This role is compensated for 40 hours weekly at $30.00 per hour.
23-Hour Crisis Stabilization – Crisis Receiving Center (Full-Time) is an Office-Based/Facility Based role.
This role is either Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Office-Based and Community-Based.
Additional CRC hours are Tuesday – Sunday , 8:00 pm – 8:00 am

Case Managers are asked to utilize their personal vehicles as needed for service implementation. Mileage Reimbursement and Data Enabled Mobile Devices/Tablets are provided.
MCR (Mobile Crisis Response) at ACE (1099):
Mobile Crisis Response at ACE is an integral part of the Crisis Stabilization program composed of a Clinical team consisting of a Clinical Supervisor dedicated to their team, as well as a Clinical Manager, and a Clinical Director.
Supervision for Mobile Crisis Response Teams at ACE is done in "Real Time", and during the implementation of services weekly. This can be up to 6 Supervision weekly between the Supervisor and MCR Counselor.
Mobile Crisis Response Case Managers are required to participate in the Virginia Crisis Continuum Data platform and have received DBDHS Virginia State approved Mobile Crisis Response training, and certification.
Clinical MCR at ACE cannot consist of QMHP trainees.
This position is not considered Full-Time and is compensated at $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 7:00pm) plus an additional $150 per client.
After Hours Crisis staff will be compensated at $50.00 per Hour Monday – Friday after 8pm, and on the Weekends 24/7, plus an additional $150 per client.
There are limited After Hour Crisis positions, and individuals will be selected based on performance and availability to be placed in the After-Hours Staffing Group of QMHP’s.
Case Managers are asked to utilize their personal vehicles as needed for service implementation. Mileage Reimbursement and Data enabled Mobile Devices and tablets are provided.
Community Stabilization at ACE:
These roles are strictly 1099.
You will be offered a Contracted position as a Crisis Counselor for Community Stabilization based on how many client (s) you are working with at the Agency, you will be compensated.
1 Client per week - $24.00 per hour
2 Clients per week - $27.00 per hour
We will determine based on performance after 60 days if you are eligible to be offered the next Tier up:
3 Clients per week - $35.00 per hour
3 or more clients per week - $40.00 per hour
You are required to sign a Contract explaining all of this at hire.
You may be employed as a “Dual Crisis Counselor” where you work with both MCR Services, and Community Stabilization services.
For QMHP-Trainees:
These roles are strictly 1099. You will work with your client for Mobile Crisis at a pay rate of $27.00 per hour, then transition your client into Community Stabilization services at your "Contracted Tier Rate" you agreed on upon hire.
You will be offered a Contracted position as a Crisis Counselor for Community Stabilization based on how many client (s) you are working with at the Agency, you will be compensated.
1 Client per week - $23.00 per hour
2 Clients per week - $25.00 per hour
We will determine based on performance after 60 days if you are eligible to be offered the next Tier up:
3 Clients per week - $30.00 per hour
4 or more client per week - $32.00 per hour
You are required to sign a Contract explaining all of this at hire.
Mental Health Skill Building/Intensive in Home at ACE:
These roles are 1099 Contract, however for individuals billing more than 32 Hours per week, we will transition to Full-Time, Benefits Included.
MHSB/IIH = $21.00 per hour for Trainee, and $25.00 per hour for a QMHP-A/C.
