We are currently recruiting for a Clinician III within our Mobile Crisis program. This position works with individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder providing individuals within the community with access to needed services and supports necessary to meeting basic needs. - Provides Emergency Services – assessment of acute crisis problems, risks, functioning and mental status; pre-admission screening; triage; and counseling supports.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge, skills and abilities in the assessment, evaluation and diagnosis of persons with mental illness, mental retardation and substance use disorders, including risk determination - danger to self or others, inability to care for self due to mental illness, imminent risk.
- Ability to facilitate clinically appropriate response to persons in acute behavioral health crisis situations – assessment, Short Term Crisis Counseling, hospitalization, triage and referral, or other dispositions.
- Knowledge and understanding of Discharge Protocols and the procedures for Continuity of Care between the CSB’s and State and private psychiatric facilitate, associated CBH policies and procedures, and Emergency Services procedures.
- One year of clinical experience with individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder required.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Master’s Degree in a human services field required .
- Resident in Counseling, Resident in Marriage & Family, Licensed Eligible required .
- DBHDS Preadmission Screening Certificate preferred.
