Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team! In this role, you'll help ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse by confirming the receipt of items, inspecting incoming goods, and managing inventory. Summary: As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be responsible for confirming the receipt of items delivered from distribution centers, ensuring the correct quantity and inspecting for any defects or mislabelling. This position involves processing incoming and outgoing shipments, assisting with inventory control, and helping with light manufacturing tasks. You'll also play an important role in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming deliveries, perform inspections, and ensure all items match the invoices.
• Package and ship items carefully, including fragile ones, using FedEx, UPS, and other distributors.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing boxes and completing any necessary paperwork.
• Help load outgoing packages.
• Forklift operation experience is helpful.

Inventory Control:

• Help keep the warehouse organized by pulling parts and assemblies for orders.
• Track incoming items and assist with periodic inventory counts.
• Process returns and ensure all items are entered into the system properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at your station.

Manufacturing Support:

• Assist with light manufacturing tasks as needed.
• Load and unload equipment like 3D printers and laser cutters.
• Operate basic shop tools such as sand blasters, belt sanders, and hand tools.
• Help with facility maintenance as required.

Other Responsibilities:

• Process invoices through the system.
• Label crates with shipping instructions and other necessary information.
• Reject items not listed on purchase orders and adjust invoices accordingly.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• At least six months of experience in distribution or manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs with or without assistance.
• Experience operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate well with others.

Equipment & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift or move materials weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without assistance.

Computer Skills:

• Beginner to mid-level computer skills are required.
