Job Title : Engineering Technician Department : EngineeringDESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Suggest modifications to improve design feasibility and increase cost efficiency.
Review blueprints for release to production, sending them for approval. Must be able to read and understand drawings.
Maintain current records of blueprints and engineering related documents according to IATF 16949 : 2015 requirements.
Maintain tooling inventory and order as needed.
Produce and review work instructions.
Perform in-house oven and scale validations.
Must be hands-on and willing to fabricate items as needed.
Maintain automated production cells.
Other duties may be assigned as needed by the company.
This position reports directly to :
Engineering Manager
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Minimum education : 2-year degree in engineering related field.
1-2 years of engineering experience.
Mechanical automation experience.
Previous experience in spring manufacturing
PLEX (ERP System)

Have advanced computer skills.
Good verbal and written skills (including technical writing).
Be able to convey ideas and comprehend detailed instructions.
Must be creative and have spatial awareness.

Must be able to complete assigned work in a timely manner.
Be able to work effectively with others.
Experienced with MS Office Suite Programs, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Self-motivated
Able to troubleshoot
