AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking an EMC / GEM Senior System Administrator , Level 3,to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications systems. The ideal candidate must possess strong creative problem-solving skills and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Mission : As a System Administrator on this government program, you will be providing support for this important government agency.

Location : Annapolis Junction, Maryland

All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Shift Work : Evenings Sun-Thurs 2pm-10pm, OR Mids. Sun-Thurs 10pm-6am

Clearance : Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance with Polygraph .

Special Requirements :

Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification requirements. Acceptable certifications include but are not limited to :

Cisco Certified Network Associate ( CCNA ) Security
CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst ( CySA )
CompTIA Security CE
GIAC Security Essentials ( GSEC )
Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional ( GICSP )
Systems Security Certified Practitioner ( SSCP )

Requirements :

U.S. Citizenship

Active TS / SCI with polygraph

Bachelor's degree and Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.

Provide 24 / 7 mission and infrastructure monitoring, notification, administrative support, logging, ticketing and reporting for supported systems

Ability to work under pressure in a mission-critical setting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on creative solutions.

Experience working in a high-availability operational environment.

Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.

Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including ISP, GW GES staff, and end-users.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Desired Requirements

Experience with enterprise network monitoring tools.

Prior experience supporting DoD or government-related IT operations.

Advanced knowledge of networking hardware and configurations

Education and Required Qualification

Bachelor's degree and Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience

High School Diploma and Twenty (20) years of relevant experience

Travel

Less than 10% of travel may occur.
