Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The CPA will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting operations. This role requires a strong understanding of the trucking industry and its unique financial considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Management: Maintain and oversee all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Audit Preparation: Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications:
