What you would be doing
As the Life Enrichment Aide, you are an important member of the The Orchards team and a key contributor to our resident's experience. You will actively engage with residents while participating in and or implementing an array of activities to appeal to the social, physical, intellectual, and emotional needs and interests of each resident. You will have the opportunity to work with residents one on one, in groups and on community outings.

As the Life Enrichment Aide, you are an important member of the The Orchards team and a key contributor to our resident's experience. You will actively engage with residents while participating in and or implementing an array of activities to appeal to the social, physical, intellectual, and emotional needs and interests of each resident. You will have the opportunity to work with residents one on one, in groups and on community outings.
What your work schedule would be
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility for evening events or special activities.
- Weekends: As needed for scheduled events or rotating coverage to ensure resident needs are met.
- Holidays: Flexibility to work on major holidays if events are planned or as required by the department.
- Has a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys socializing, and has an outgoing, friendly personality.
- Must be able to communicate confidently and effectively with residents, families, and all levels of staff members, healthcare professionals, and other visitors.
