Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patients’ medical histories.
- Measure and record vital statistics, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Observe patients during treatment to monitor progress and identify potential side effects of medications.
- Track patients’ conditions, including fluid intake and output, and maintain comprehensive patient charts.
- Assist patients in daily essential activities such as eating and bathing.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections, clean and dress wounds, and support other basic medical care needs.
- Offer emotional and psychological support as required.
- Ability to accurately record and manage patient information.
- Proficient in taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions.
- Strong observational skills to identify patient needs and changes in their health status.
- Competence in assisting with daily living activities.
- Skills in administering medical treatments and providing emotional support to patients.
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- No prior pediatric or private duty nursing experience is necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
