Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patients’ medical histories
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Monitor and assess patients’ progress, noting any side effects of medications
- Maintain detailed patient charts, tracking fluid intake and output
- Assist patients with daily activities such as eating and bathing
- Administer prescribed injections and medications, clean and dress wounds, and perform basic medical tasks
- Provide emotional support and psychological care as needed
- Proficient in recording and interpreting vital signs
- Strong observational abilities for patient monitoring
- Excellent communication skills to provide support and care
- Ability to assist patients with daily living activities
- Familiarity with administering medications and injections
- Valid LPN license
- Completion of a practical nursing program
- Compassionate and patient-centric approach to healthcare
- Willingness to work independently and manage time effectively
