Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient medical histories
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
• Observe and evaluate patients under treatment to identify progress and potential side effects
• Monitor patients’ conditions, including fluid intake and output, while maintaining thorough patient charts
• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating and bathing
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, and basic medical care including wound cleaning and dressing
• Provide emotional and psychological support as required
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong ability to accurately record and assess medical histories
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
• Excellent observational skills to identify treatment progress and side effects
• Effective communication skills to offer emotional support
• Basic medical care skills, including administering injections and wound care
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri
• No prior pediatric or private duty nursing experience necessary
