The Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for developing and planning behavioral health services to improve quality of life for mental health disorders. We are looking to hire a New Team member! We are dedicated to innovative mental health services, education, and professional training to strengthen children, families, and communities.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses a clients problems and discusses the best way to plan and deliver care.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders
- Prescribe and manage medications for patients
- Provide therapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Builds relationships with consumers and encourages trust.
- Responsible for responding to distressed consumers in a non-threatening manner and try to understand the source of the problem.
- Works with consumer and their families and helps with educating them about their mental health problems.
- Support consumer care for a variety of different mental disabilities and dysfunctions.
Education:
- Licensure: You’re a fully licensed, ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Maryland
- NPI Number: We can point you in the right direction if you don’t have it yet!
- DEA: You have a DEA number.
Job Type: Part-time, 16-24 hours per week
Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour (depending upon experience)
