What We're Looking For:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 8 years of experience.
- A valid driver's license.
- The ability to travel for various projects.
- Familiar with fabrication and the machining process.
- Proficient in taking precise physical measurements to determine design parameters for industrial projects.
- Knowledgeable in industrial equipment design, including conveyor screws, vacuum equipment, bearings, and drives/gears, with familiarity in fabrication, machining processes, and manufacturing tolerances.
- Excellent communication skills.
Salary: $80,000 | Schedule: Will vary based on needs (some travel is involved)
Mechanical Engineer Essential Functions:
- Design mechanical equipment according to customer specifications.
- Perform mechanical and process calculations to determine design parameters.
- Draft mechanical designs (2D and 3D) for welding, fabrication, machining, and installation.
- Perform all duties safely.
- Willing to learn and perform other tasks and duties as needed.
