We are in search of hardworking individuals, true travel warriors, to join our team as Gas Turbine Mechanics/Millwright Mechanics. As a Travelling Gas Turbine Mechanic/Millwright Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in safely performing mechanical duties and ensuring the repair, installation, and maintenance of heavy rotating equipment in power plants nationwide.

Responsibilities of the Turbine Mechanic include:

• Reading blueprints, following layouts, and technical documentation with precision.
• Disassembling, inspecting, modifying, aligning, and reassembling Gas/Steam Turbines from leading brands like Siemens, GE, Mitsubishi, and Westinghouse.
• Installing equipment and parts according to layout plans.
• Demonstrating a strong willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Possessing excellent mechanical and technical skills; welding and overhead crane certification are advantageous.
  
  
  

Our work season spans from September to the end of June or early July, offering you a generous break during the last half of July and all of August—perfect for summer vacation time! Flexibility is key as projects typically last up to 3 weeks, requiring dedication until completion, including the ability to work 7 days a week, including holidays.

Requirements:

• Solid mechanical and technical skills.
• Experience with gas/steam turbine engines, millwright, boilermaker, diesel mechanic, or wind turbines preferred; training is available for candidates with relevant experience in other fields.
• Possession of an OSHA 10 Certificate prior to starting the job.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to travel extensively across the country and potentially overseas; having a passport is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
• Successful completion of a drug test.
  
  
  

In return, we offer competitive pay ranging from $22 to $27 per hour, with a per diem of $135 per day and all travel expenses covered, including airfare and car rental. Our work schedule operates on a 7/12 system.
