Job Description:
Advantage Investigations seeks a Part Time HR Administrative Assistant for our Human Resources Team. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to the HR team. This position is a part-time, hourly nonexempt position located in our Kannapolis, NC office. This part-time position will allow for permanent flexible hours Monday – Friday roughly 20-25 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating pre-hire employee compliance paperwork and ensuring delivery
- Help with the preparation and distribution of new hire orientation materials and ensure employees have a smooth transition into their roles
- Support the onboarding process by following up with candidates
- Assist with processing investigator license applications in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure all required documents are submitted and complete for license issuance
- Maintain employee records
- Assist with daily calls to the corporate office and forward to appropriate departments
- Interact with managers and other stakeholders
- Assist with HR-related administrative tasks, such as maintaining files, preparing documents for employee requests, and supporting the HR team as needed
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following requirements for this position:
- Previous work-related experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy, and addressing discrepancies when they arise
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities to clearly communicate HR processes to stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR Generalists, HR Recruiting, HR Business Partners, VP of HR and other departments
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data privacy standards when handling sensitive HR information
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Outlook, SharePoint
Salary: $18/hour
