Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries and favorable terms.
- Forecast demand and coordinate with internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor industry trends, supplier opportunities, and cost fluctuations to refine purchasing decisions.
- Secure competitive agreements that align with company objectives and cost-saving goals.
- Utilize analytics to assess purchasing performance and identify supply chain improvements.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Work with teams across operations, finance, and R&D to support business needs.
- Continuously improve procurement and planning workflows for increased efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices, inventory management, and ERP systems (Infor Visual preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a strong team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred; relevant experience and certifications like CPSM are a plus.
