Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee electrical and instrumentation construction activities for large industrial or petroleum projects. The successful candidate will ensure that safety and technical standards are met, and collaborate with teams on commissioning, engineering, or operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage the construction plan, including staffing and contracting.
- Work with on-site teams across various areas (civil, structural, piping, electrical, etc.) to ensure designs allow for easy access and efficient use of space.
- Set up logistics like offices, IT, transport, and accommodations for the team.
- Pre-qualify contractors and assist with bid reviews.
- Monitor site safety, quality, and project progress.
- Oversee schedules and resolve delays.
- Manage I&E contractor work for capital projects.
Requirements:
- 5 years as a Construction Coordinator and I&E Coordinator.
- 1.5β3 years working on large industrial or petroleum projects.
- 1 year of site management experience.
- Hands-on experience with I&E is preferred.
