What are the responsibilities and job description for the OE Program Manager position at Advantage Technical?
Location: Dearborn, MI.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (BS) in math, science, or engineering and 5 years of related experience.
- Knowledgeable in managing automotive powertrain programs, including engineering, project budgeting and finance, commercial agreements, purchasing, supply, and IT project development.
- Knowledge and experience with OEM engineering and product development for OE programs.
- Able to lead a cross-functional team to project timelines and meet customer and internal deliverables.
- Ability to prepare program presentations and present information clearly to customers.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint required.
- Coordination and planning skills (Project Management).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required.
- Lead a cross functional team to bring product design to production.
- Report program status to the executive team, including timing, quality, cost and deliverable status.
- Develop effective deliverables to monitor team's launch status and performance.
- Provide project leadership and drive all aspects of program launch.
- Serve as key customer contact for engineering, supply, and quality teams.
- Ensure customer deliverables and program timing are met.
- Establish and maintain an open issues list and timeline.
- Establish and maintain program files and retain in an orderly manner.
- Minimize project risk and inform management appropriately.
- Facilitates lessons-learned session at the conclusion of the launch as part of continuous improvement.
