What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Steel Estimator position at Advantage TerraFab?
We are seeking an Estimator to join our team and provide accurate cost estimates for our projects. The preferred candidate will have an understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs, as well as the ability to review plans and specifications to create detailed estimates. The successful candidate will also be able to communicate effectively with project managers and clients, ensuring that all expectations are met.
Responsibilities:
- Read and perform takeoffs from drawings and specifications.
- Gather information from vendors and subcontractors to prepare estimates.
- Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for projects.
- Prepare & develop cost estimates for projects labor, materials, and equipment costs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,293.00 - $52,788.00 per year
