Advantage Truck Group (ATG) has a new opportunity for an Outside Parts Sales Associate to join the team on full-time basis. The Outside Parts Sales Associate is responsible for managing parts sales to both fleet and retail customers in his/her territory supporting a wide range of commercial and municipal vehicle applications, fleets and owner operators. This position serves customers in Western Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut and Eastern New York.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Grow and maintain business within assigned territory through scheduled customer visits and phone sales calls
- Utilize all tools available including technology, OEM offerings and vendor programs, to promote sales and provide support to the customer
- Complete call reports daily through business CRM
- Work with local branch Parts and Service Managers to resolve customer issues
- Participate in OEM training assigned by your immediate supervisor
- Participate in customer visits with manufacturers or vendor representatives as needed
- Communicate with inside parts sales representatives to process customer orders
- Deliver parts to customers when necessary
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance
- Other various projects assigned by your immediate supervisor
Requirements
- Understanding of the heavy duty truck or automotive industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency, internet and business program proficiencies
- Strong attention to detail
- Required business dress
Qualifications
- Sales Experience preferred
- Heavy truck dealership experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a valid state driver’s license
- Must be able to maintain stationary positions throughout the workday
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform required tasks
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
