Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our finance team. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, and customer accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to accuracy in all financial transactions.
Duties
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using software
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure that all financial data is consistent and correct.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account discrepancies.
- Conduct data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable or receivable.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Familiarity with corporate accounting practices and technical accounting principles.
- Strong skills in double entry bookkeeping and data entry are essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in customer service is a plus, as effective communication is key when interacting with clients regarding their accounts.
