Job Title: Senior Product Manager
Location(s): Irvine, CA - Onsite
Compensation: $120,000 – $135,000
Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and respond to RFI/RFP/RFQ for ODM products in different vertical markets.
- Manage product development (New Product Introduction) from project kick-off to production, including product design, specification defining, software development and version control, bugs fixes, design change handling, schedule control, BOM analysis, and resource/cost management.
- Plan, develop, and coordinate marketing campaigns and programs to promote Advantech’s ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) business.
- Coordinate different cross-functional teams to make sure all development is on schedule, including R&D (software, hardware, mechanical, thermal and ID design), validation (Reliability/SI/Power validation), quality, safety, manufacturing, and procurement.
- Communicate and negotiate with overseas (Taiwan/China) counterparts.
- Manage and maintain customer relationships.
- Periodic travel to participate in trade shows and customer visits.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of demonstrated experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering related field is preferred.
- Experience in one or more of the following disciplines is preferred: product management, project management, technical support in the computer industry.
- Experience in supporting one or more of the following fields is preferred: Digital Signage, Medical
- Computer Products, Surveillance, Tablet and Handheld devices, Fleet Management Hardware, Display Technologies, or Servers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently in a multinational organization.
