Job Description:

  • The Consumer Robotics group is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, making the future closer than ever.
  • We have an immediate opening for a Technical Program Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Scoping and delivering large, complex programs end-to-end.
  • Responsibilities include collection of business and systems requirements, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch.
  • You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal and external teams to develop optimal solutions.
  • You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.

The right candidate will possess:

  • Strong technical program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large programs, and will have a well-rounded technical background.
  • You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
  • This means you are not only able to drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
  • As a TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
  • An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop end-to-end integrated plan, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected.
  • Maturity, high judgment, ability to influence and negotiate, analytical skills and leadership are essential for success in this role.
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering plus 3-5 years industry experience as a software developer or technical lead is required
  • Knowledge in Robotics, AI/ML SW development is a plus
  • Good track record of working effectively across different groups in the organization
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with strong program management skills
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Top 3 must-have hard skills

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering plus 3-5 years industry experience as a software developer or technical lead is required. Overall industry Exp to be at 10-15 Yrs
  • Knowledge in Robotics, AI/ML SW development is a big plus
  • Prior Technical or Engineering Background – Software Experience (Hardware & Software Exp is a plus
