Quality Assurance Manager

Advantest Test Solutions, Inc. (ATS) is looking for Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Lake Forest, CA. This individual will be responsible for securing product quality by maintaining QA / QC programs and quality group performance.
Essential Duties Responsibilities :
- QA / QC programs include the following
Quality inspections in production
Quality issue closure (in production / field)Reviewing / approving waivers, reports, new supplier registration and team related expensesScoring key supplier performanceParticipating in quality meetings with strategic customersMaintaining existing processes, related tools, documents, and introducing new processesSetting annual team objectives / targets and related KPIs to be trackedMaintain quality group performance the following is requiredCreating annual expense (purchasing, training / certificates, business trip) proposal.
Conducting team member performance reviews feedbackClarifying the role and value of each team member, how individual contribution connects to corporate level mission and target.Develop goals to motivate the teamMaintain a positive relationship with other groups such as Operations, Field Service, Global QA, otherRegular reporting to upper managementAll other duties as assigned.Requirements
Requirements, Education Skills :
Bachelor’s or higher degree in technical studies, or related.Full understanding of CAR / 8D reporting.3 years Quality Manager experience.Knowledge of Semiconductor Industry is preferred.Experience in either ATE production or failure analysis in electronics products highly preferred.Excellent and effective communication skills.Proven ability to maintain respect within all levels of the workforce.Knowledge of Quality Control such as quality control plan, KPI, SPC, and 5S.Some knowledge of failure analysis, quality issue cases in mechanical, electrical, thermal applications, and supplier quality related activities.Good foundation on knowledge in product validation / qualification and process document control.Ability to utilize a “proactive” quality approach.Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Teams, Outlook).Strong attention to detail is required.Proven strong documentation skills is required.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proven ability to multi-task in a challenging environment.Ability to thrive in and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Willing and able to work on-site daily in our Lake Forest, CA office and willing and able to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
