What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager/small company Controller position at Advantex Professional Services?
We are currently seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager/small company Controller a construction company located in Vista, CA.
This position will be working onsite. Must be comfortable working in a smaller company and handling the full cycle accounting process and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
Key Duties for the Accounting Manager/small company Controller:
- Will oversee the day to day GL accounting functions
- Handle the AP, AR, monthly journal entries, monthly close and monthly financial reporting
- Will oversee a staff of 3-4 AP/AR Clerks
- Will be responsible for reviewing contracts, handling lien releases and prelims
- Handle the budgeting, forecasting and analysis
- Will oversee and manage the human resources
Key Requirements for the Accounting Manager/small company Controller:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of full cycle GL accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills including vlookup/pivot tables
- Solomon or any large ERP system is a plus
- Strong hands on roll up your sleeves type background
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Pay $105,000 to $110,000 plus benefits
