What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Advantex Professional Services?
We are currently seeking a Controller with strong manufacturing and cost background for a well-established manufacturing company located in Pomona.
Position will be working onsite and will be responsible for overseeing a staff of 6.
Target pay is $110,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.
Hot Buttons: Manufacturing/Cost Experience and CPA is preferred
Key Responsibilities for the Controller:
- Will oversee a staff of 6
- Responsible for leading the monthly close process and financial reporting
- Responsible for maintaining the internal controls over the AP, AR, inventory, purchase orders and capital
- Generate the financials statements/cost center for the internal/external review of the companies profitability
- Oversee the annual audit, tax filings, bank line renewals and insurance
- Implement and maintain the standard cost systems and ensure accuracy with build plans and standard cost
- Budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cash flow and maintaining inventory
Key Requirements for the Controller:
- BA/BS in Accounting/Finance
- 5 years of strong manufacturing/cost experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Strong employee training and development
- Advanced Excel skills
- Epicor or any large ERP system experience
- In depth understanding of accounting controls
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
