About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and driven Financial Analyst with 3 years of experience for a temporary role with our client located up in the San Gabriel Valley. Strong possibility of temp to hire. Position will be working onsite.
Pay is up to $35.00 per hour

Key Duties for the Financial Analyst:
- Conduct annual capital and operations budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data
- Perform monthly variance (flux) analysis between actuals and budget, identifying key drivers and trends
- Provide insightful analysis of Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Revenue (ROR) for both actual and budgeted results
- Maintain and enhance forecasting models to improve financial planning and accuracy
- Support the evaluation of acquisitions and new business opportunities through financial modeling and analysis
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze key performance indicator (KPI) reports for business leaders
- Assist in compiling data for rate case filings and quarterly audits
- Update SOX documentation and help ensure ongoing compliance with internal financial controls
Key Requirements for the Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3 years of experience in a financial analysis or corporate finance role
- Strong proficiency in Excel (vlookup/pivot tables/formulas/sumifs) and financial modeling
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools is a plus
