What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Advantex Professional Services?
We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity with our client located in Newport Beach.
Position will be working onsite. Healthcare industry and CPA are highly preferred.
Target pay is $85,000 to $110,000 depending on level of experience
Senior Accountant Duties:
- Oversee the full operational accounting duties, including AP, payroll, cash management and reconciliations
- Responsible for the monthly close and monthly financial reporting
- Handle the balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for the annual budgets, forecasting and financial KPI's
- Maintain the internal controls, accounting policies and working close with external CPA with the audits
- Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws
Senior Accountant Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- CPA is preferred
- Healthcare industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years of full cycle GL accounting experience
- Advanced Excel (vlookup/pivot tables)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
