Position Overview :
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate Specialist to join a dynamic accounting team in Newport Beach. This 100% on-site position involves managing a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The role is temp-to-hire for the right candidate , and we are looking to hire immediately.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process 100 invoices daily, including both non-PO and PO invoices , ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders and apply goods received to vendor bills.
- Code and book invoices daily, manage weekly check runs, and maintain a supplier deposits ledger .
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in month-end closing activities , financial audits, and maintain essential financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience :
Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (highly preferred).
