The Position
We are searching for a Corporate Controller to join our thriving accounting team! This full-time, direct-hire position offers a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role within our fast-expanding company. As a Corporate Controller, you'll oversee the company’s financial operations, lead a team of four skilled accounting professionals, and ensure our financials are in tip-top shape. Your Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the Close : Take charge of the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring everything is completed on time (books closed by the 10th day of the month ).
- Lead the Team : Supervise and mentor a team of 4 accounting professionals, including the AR Manager, AP Manager, and Senior Accountants, helping them develop and ensuring optimal team performance.
- Oversee Financial Reporting : Review and approve all financial reports to ensure GAAP compliance .
- Cross-Department Collaboration : Work alongside department heads to align financial resources with company goals and maintain cost efficiency.
- Policy Creation & Controls : Develop and implement strong financial policies and internal controls to protect assets and keep financial operations smooth.
- Strategic Insight : Partner with the CFO by providing valuable financial insights to help guide the company’s strategies.
- Audit Management : Oversee the audit process, ensuring everything is on track for successful and timely audits.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing regular updates to management for informed decision-making.
- Cash Flow Management : Ensure strong cash flow management and help optimize liquidity while minimizing financial risks.
- Foster Growth : Build a positive, collaborative team environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Ad-Hoc Duties : Jump in and assist with various tasks and reports as needed – no two days are the same!
