Controller/CFO- Healthcare

Overview
We are a corporate healthcare organization seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller/CFO to join our dynamic team. Must have healthcare experience working as a Controller of CFO. The Financial Controller/CFO will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth. This position requires a deep understanding of financial concepts, risk management, and corporate accounting practices.

Duties

• Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for healthcare related entities.
• Manage the cost reimbursement and financial reporting process while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards, as well as maximizing reimbursement.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost management.
• Implement and maintain financial software systems to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate tax accounting processes and ensure timely filing of tax returns in accordance with regulations.
• Collaborate with business development teams to provide financial insights that support strategic initiatives.
• Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and ensure adherence to GAAP principles.

Experience

• Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
• Proficiency in financial software applications and tools for effective data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated expertise in tax accounting practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Experience in cost management strategies that drive operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with risk management principles and their application in a corporate environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, preferably in a healthcare/hospital environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with budgeting, compliance, and cash management
• Excellent skills in account reconciliation and financial management
• Familiarity with accounting software systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $167,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Inpatient/Outpatient hospital: 3 years (Preferred)
• Healthcare Controller: 3 years (Required)
