Shift : Choice of 6 AM - 3 PM or 7 AM - 4 PM
Primary Responsibilities and Duties :
Manage the shipping and receiving processes, including receiving, verifying, and transacting incoming goods, and preparing outgoing shipments.
Oversee a team of two direct reports : a shipping and receiving clerk and a laborer / forklift operator.
Collaborate with other departments, such as production and commodities, to ensure smooth workflow.
Drive process improvements and cost savings through KPI tracking and analysis, focusing on dock-to-stock time, on-time delivery percentages, and freight spend.
Key Qualifications and Skills :
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Experience in a manufacturing facility setting to understand process flow.
4-7 years of experience working with an ERP system (D365 preferred, but not required).
Proficiency in Excel
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Experience with KPIs (dock-to-stock time, on-time delivery, freight spend).
Ability to manage invoices.
Openness to backup work for pick pack supervisor.
Ideal Level of Experience :
Early career professional with the right work ethic is ideal.
Preferred but not required; 3 years of experience in a relevant role (supervisor or manager)
Experience in a manufacturing setting is desired.
Experience with ERP systems and KPIs is essential.
