DIRECT HIRE | DESIGNER / DRAFTER | Orlando, FL area
Our client is looking for talented and detail-oriented Designer / Drafters with experience in structural or architectural drafting and / or design to join their growing team.
Anticipate $40K-$80K, dependent on experience (multiple positions open with varying experience requirements, i.e. Drafting vs Designing)

Seeking experience with Architectural and / or Structural Design / Drafting related to commercial builds
Responsibilities :
Design and Drafting : Develop detailed drawings and plans for commercial construction projects using AutoCAD.
Collaboration : Partner with engineers, architects, and project managers to create comprehensive design solutions tailored to construction methods.
Plan Review : Interpret and review project specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents specific to design.
Compliance : Ensure all designs meet relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
Revisions : Update and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and evolving project requirements.
Documentation : Keep accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
Requirements :
Prefer Design / Drafting related degree / certifications
Experience : 1 of experience in structural or architectural drafting / design for commercial construction projects
Software Proficiency : Proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with other design software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is a plus.
Experience with 3D renderings would be a big plus.
Technical Skills : Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Attention to Detail : Exceptional precision and attention to detail in drafting and design work.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving : Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Team Player : Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
