Project Manager - Construction Team
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our client's Construction team. This role supports the New Market Strategy and Territory Growth teams as our client continues its nationwide expansion.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in construction (required)
Experience: At least 5 years in a construction project management role, including multisite program rollouts and retail expansion
Strong understanding of construction specifications, blueprints, and lease documentation
Proven ability to multitask and stay highly organized in a fast-paced environment
Calm, collaborative, and solutions-oriented under pressure
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (4–5 trips per month, each lasting 2–3 days)
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Oversee the delivery of construction projects, ensuring timely completion of new facility locations
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets from planning to completion
- Identify potential issues, propose solutions, and escalate major concerns as needed
- Communicate effectively with landlords, property managers, general contractors, and team members
Budgeting & Scheduling
- Prepare job budgets, create detailed project schedules, and coordinate overall project delivery
Contracting & Negotiation
- Oversee the preparation and execution of contracts
- Select and negotiate with subcontractors to ensure quality and cost-effective project execution
Risk Management & Communication
- Assess and manage project risks, ensuring smooth communication among stakeholders
- Provide ongoing updates and clear reporting to relevant teams and leadership
Travel & On-Site Oversight
- Travel to project sites to monitor progress and ensure deadlines and standards are met
