Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and implementation.
- Support the permitting process for assigned projects.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction projects from beginning to end.
- Ensure all project phases are on track and properly coordinated.
- Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Assist senior project managers in monitoring project progress and performance.
- Prepare reports and documentation for project meetings.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and timelines.
- Lead and collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Provide regular project status updates and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise promptly.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of project management experience or related experience.
- Project Management Expertise: Deep understanding of project management fundamentals, including proficiency in earned value management and project budgeting.
- Technical Skills: Ability to interpret shop drawings and millwork specifications, with strong analytical skills for assessing project requirements and devising effective plans.
- Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, adept at working with diverse teams. Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving capabilities and adaptability to evolving project demands.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficient in computer skills related to project management software, with experience in content management systems.
- Additional Competencies: Ability to perform in areas such as estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, client relationship management, and safety/insurance.
