Advent Talent Group is seeking a Cemetery Office Manager for a family-owned client in Bloomington, MN. This role is vital for ensuring the seamless operation of our cemetery services. As the administrative backbone of our organization, the Cemetery Office Manager will oversee all aspects of cemetery operations, from client interactions to contract processing. The ideal candidate will combine administrative expertise with compassionate customer service to support families during difficult times while maintaining efficient office operations.
Overview :
- Position Type : Direct Hire
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 : 30 PM, with coverage every other Saturday
- Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
- Location : On-site in Bloomington, MN
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for families, providing guidance on cemetery property selection and addressing all cemetery-related inquiries with empathy and professionalismProcess and maintain cemetery contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and documentation requirementsManage financial operations including client payment processing, trust administration, vendor invoicing, payroll coordination, and sales commission calculationsSchedule and coordinate burial services with families, funeral directors, and cemetery staff, ensuring all details are confirmed and effectively communicated to all partiesOversee facility management, including building maintenance, repair coordination, cleaning services, and vendor relationshipsCoordinate marker orders, installations, and maintenance, ensuring timely completion and quality standardsPlan and execute annual memorial events and services, including invitation coordination and program managementQualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in office management, administrative leadership, or related fieldStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environmentExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with empathy when working with grieving familiesProficiency with office software and financial management systemsDetail-oriented with meticulous record-keeping abilitiesExperience in customer service, preferably in a funeral home, cemetery, or related settingAbility to maintain composure and professionalism when dealing with sensitive situationsEligible employees will enjoy the following benefits :
