About the Job Description
This position involves working under general supervision, performing a range of imaging procedures, including neuro and body scans, while following age-specific guidelines.
As a tech II, you will be responsible for transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation and maintaining accurate records within the hospital computer system.
Main Responsibilities
- Performing all types of imaging procedures, including the most difficult exams.
- Using Facility protocols to ensure patient safety and adhere to Facility policies.
- Screening patients for contrast allergies and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Operating equipment safely and properly, adhering to infection control standards.
- Maintaining clean and organized rooms, and managing inventory effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field.
- Completion of Radiologic Technology training and A.R) registration.
- BS in a healthcare-related discipline.
- Two years of hospital-based clinical Radiology experience.
