The role you’ll contribute:
The Psychometrist is responsible for conducting inpatient and/or outpatient assessments of patients with a variety of developmental, medical, and neurological conditions. Manages the administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests. Collaborates with the Clinical Neuropsychologist(s) in order to coordinate patient care, supports ongoing presentations and research activities, and provides training in test administration for externs and postdoctoral fellows along with some administrative duties.

- Effectively performs standardized administration and scoring of a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological tests
- Establishes an appropriate testing environment and administer tests to inpatients and outpatients
- Scores all tests administered, documents behavioral observations, and provides a brief summary of results
- Instructs trainees in proper test administration and checking the work of trainees for accuracy to ensure assessments are conducted properly and completely
- Conducts in-service training whenever new assessment tools or scoring programs are made available
- Schedules appointments for outpatient testing
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
- Bachelor's in Psychology or related field
- 1 Years of experience in hospital or other clinical setting or 1 year related clinical externship
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- BLS - Basic Life Support
Preferred qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
