Shift: Days Monday-Friday including on call
The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Palm Coast 60 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, 32164
The role you’ll contribute:
The Risk Manager plans, develops, and administers the system’s Risk Management Program for loss prevention and claims control according to federal, state, and local requirements to meet the needs of all units of the AdventHealth – East Region.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Oversees the system for identification and analysis of loss or injury exposure.
- Plans, develops and maintains loss prevention activities.
- Maintains and coordinates claims control.
- Assures facilitation of the patient grievance process as required by state and federal statutes.
- Assists in maintaining Joint Commission Accreditation
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- Associate’s degree
- 3 years in risk management or related management experience
- Competent in use of electronic medical record software.
- Driver License, Valid and in State
Preferred qualifications:
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- Certification from an accredited risk management course/program within one year from employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41.98 - $62.98 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
