The role you’ll contribute:
The Manager, Performance & Enablement, plays a pivotal role in elevating the performance of medical practices across the clinically integrated networks, ACOs, and other provider network arrangements, supporting the value-based enterprise of AdventHealth. Reporting to the Director of Provider Performance and Enablement, this strategic role focuses on this strategic role focuses on managing the programmatic approach and operational plan delivery and managing a team that directly interacts with medical practices, guiding them toward value-based practice transformation, curating contract participation, and enhancing the delivery of patient-centered care.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Performance Tier Creation:
- Lead the team in developing and implementing performance tiers for medical practices, including the education of this network construct, and supporting the efforts of the executive team in management of providers expectations and knowledge of the value-based enterprise.
- Collaborate with doctors and the Network Development team to curate contract participation that aligns with value-based care initiatives.
- Practice Engagement and Transformation:
- Lead the team in developing and executing strategies to engage medical practices in value-based care models.
- Collaborate with practice leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement, clinical integration, and enhanced patient outcomes.
- Utilize change management techniques to guide practices towards value-based care delivery.
- Supports leadership in action plan management of providers requiring performance improvement.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of professionals focused on provider performance improvement and enablement.
- Drive team goals, objectives, and accountabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Ensure team members maintain a strong understanding of population health principles, managed care knowledge, and value-based performance metrics.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business, or related field; or 7 years of related experience.
- 5 years of experience in a relevant physician/hospital/managed care environment.
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or manager role in a healthcare leadership role, preferably focused on value-based performance, engagement, or transformation.
- Familiarity with performance metrics, managed care models, and healthcare reform.
- Change Management Training
- Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt Certification
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in healthcare, business, or related field; or 7 years of related experience.
- Advanced certification or formal training in Population Health, Managed Care, or Value-based Care
- Change Management Certification
- Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt Certification
