What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rapid Care NP/PA - Lake County, CA position at Adventist Health System/West?
Adventist Health Clear Lake is actively seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to serve in a our Rapid Care clinic in beautiful Lake County, CA. Our Rapid Care clinic is an extended hours clinic operating out of our Rural Health clinic.
- The incoming Advanced Providers will work with an experienced clinician who provides continuous and comprehensive services necessary for the promotion of optimal health, prevention and treatment.
- Candidate will perform a variety of advanced clinical duties involved in assessing, treating, controlling, and preventing patient illness and disease.
- This includes performing physical examinations, administering medications as prescribed and offering coaching and education to meet patient needs.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced clinician who is comfortable working with a varied patient population. Though principally a full-time position, candidates who are available on a part-time basis or who are newly trained will also be considered. This position requires an active CA license, BLS, and DEA.

Adventist Health Clear Lake (AHCL) is a 25-bed Critical Access medical center in Clearlake, California, serving Lake County. Services include 24-hour emergency care, diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT mammography), home care, ICU, laboratory, maternity, physical rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, surgery, and ten rural health clinics around the lake that provide primary care, behavioral health, dental care, OB / GYN, pediatrics and specialty health care services.
