What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMT, Per Diem, Rotating Shifts position at Adventist Health?
Nestled on the Central California Coast, Adventist Health Sierra Vista has been providing care to our community since 1959. Our 162-bed acute care facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county designated trauma center. POSITION SUMMARY:
Clerical duties of processing MD orders, coordinating response of ancillary departments, Calling PMD's as directed by MD or RN, and handling other phone calls and paperwork, as appropriate. Assist with patient care within EMT scope of practice under the direction of MD or RN.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate in a professional manner.
Education and Work Experience:
- EMT 1 Training: Required
Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association: Required
- Registered EMT in the State of California: Required
ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
