Welcome to Adventure Pet Resort. We are a premier pet resort serving pet parents in the Las Vegas community. We foster a positive work environment in a team setting with opportunity to grow from within.
We are currently looking for dedicated and reliable team members who possess a strong work ethic to fill our dog park attendant positions. We are looking for attendants in our large, medium to small and individual dog parks. Full scheduling availability 7 days a week is necessary for this position, as scheduling will be based on business needs.
Position is Seasonal starting in March through end of July, and/or starting in October through January 3rd.
A Dog Park Attendant’s main responsibility is the supervision, control and management of daycare dogs, ensuring the safety of the playgroup. The Dog Park Attendant is also responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the play parks as well as other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties:
- Supervise and engage with dogs in our play parks to foster positive play, socialization and enrichment.
- Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times, spreading attention and play among all dogs in the park.
- Properly introduce dogs to the play park when they arrive.
- Praise and correct play park dogs as needed to ensure the energy level of all dogs remains at a safe enjoyable level.
- Communicate with other staff on property regarding park dogs when needed using a 2-way radio.
- Prepare pet report cards for each dog daily to be sent to clients.
- Cleaning of the play park on a continual basis to ensure all pet waste is removed as soon as it occurs. Cleanliness of the play parks is essential to provide a safe environment for pets and staff.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Must be comfortable working with large groups of dogs of all sizes and keep calm under pressure.
- Operate a smartphone/tablet and 2-way radio
- Comprehensive verbal and written skills. (Must be able to speak loud enough to be heard over barking dogs)
- Must be dependable and show up for all scheduled shifts.
- Ability to follow instructions.
Salary : $12 - $15
