Summary
This is a Part- time position, Monday – Friday from 12 : 00 pm- 6 : 30pm.
We are looking for enthusiastic early childcare educators to join our team!!! Do you have a passion for working with toddlers, do you enjoy watching them grow and helping them meet developmental milestones? If so, this may be a great place for you! Adventure Place is looking to add to our team and find someone who truly loves being with toddlers, knows how to meet their basic needs and exceeds expectations when implementing activities for children 18mo- aprox 3 years.
The candidate we are looking for must be able to work the M-F and be available from 12 : 00p - 6 : 30p (there could be some flexibility with hours, but you have to be able to work till 6 : 30p this is a closing shift, there also is always the possibility more hours will come available if you are interested in them!)

All our classrooms are currently full and we are not accepting children, waitlists are available but we do not have immediate openings
Duties
Job Responsibilities :
Supports the Lead Teachers and the Director by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children.
Assists in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education.
Communicates, listens, and works well with others in a team environment.
Assists in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents.
Observes and documents children's interest and progress, and relays that information back to parents and staff.
Implements developmentally appropriate activities based on children's interests and needs under the direction of the Teacher and the Director.
Assists in the implementation of curriculum activities and encourages participation by the children.
Engages in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
Maintains frequent communication with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
Encourages self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to the school.
Follows all school policies and state regulations.
Maintains a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
Experience Education :
High energy.
Ability to work well with others.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
An understanding of child development.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Infant / child CPR, First Aid certification, Child Abuse prevention and Communicable Disease training. (NOT REQUIRED AT HIRE)
Continuing Professional Development hours (OCCRRA) registered.
Must clear full background check.
High School Diploma or GED; Significant college credit in Early Childhood Education or related field of study or 6 hours of Early Childhood Education credit (preferred, not required); or CDA (preferred, not required
