PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Adventure Ready Brands is looking for a self-starter, results-oriented individual for the role of US Sales Manager. This role is responsible for developing and executing growth plans within the assigned territory, as well as providing direct sales and customer service duties to accounts as designated by the Chief Customer Officer. This position will support goals and guidelines set forth by the CCO by creating, implementing, and enforcing systems to facilitate support of sales programs. This position could have direct reports requiring People Development skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Work closely with CCO to accomplish:
- Annual sales and budget goals.
- Key account planning and updates to drive volume
- Delivering accurate monthly forecasting updates
- Develop and administer efficient and effective plans to grow the business using trade funds
Work with buyers and rep groups to:
- Manage selected accounts, including presentations, promotions, forecasts, planograms, shows, etc.
- Complete paperwork, presentations, product listings for all key accounts.
- Complete ongoing reviews with rep groups across segments
- Complete POS reviews and scorecard analysis to optimize assortment and promotional ROI
- Send updated marketing and advertising programs to reps.
- Identify and onboard new customers.
Work with your direct report(s) to:
- Manage territory sales, forecasts, and customers for growth, accuracy, and planning.
- Develop plans to manage rep groups, customer needs, and line review planning
- Develop and grow through performance management and continuous feedback
Work Cross functionally to:
- Develop and monitor customer programs and spending in conjunction with accounting.
- Review product shortages/inventory needs and communicate with customers and reps.
- Communicate new item additions and forecast timing
- Conduct store checks and report on in-store merchandising of ARB products and competitive programs.
- Assist in trade and consumer shows and attend when warranted.
- Interact with ARB production and operations to ensure timely delivery of shipments with focus of off-shelf merchandising displays.
- Work in conjunction with Quality Assurance to understand lead times and appropriate release dates.
- Respond to e-mails, inbound phone calls, resolving calls in a skillful and prompt manner and within the established quality parameters.
- Communicate with CCO concerning all issues pertaining to the customer program.
- Communicate updates in customer accounts internally on maintain item pricing, sku info (discontinuation, etc).
- Communicating with logistics regarding specific shipping needs.
- Research, track, and report on QA incidents.

- Bachelor Degree in Business or Equivalent Job Experience.
- 5 Years or more in a professional sales role with Account Management experience.
- Proven track record of success with key accounts
- Excellent computer, telephone and communication/interpersonal skills.
- Detailed and well organized.
- Travel required.
