Leasing Associate
We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Leasing Associate to join a reputable, family-owned real estate investment and management company. The ideal candidate will possess a New York State Salesperson License and superb communication and people skills. Must have a strong background in full-cycle leasing operations, including lead generation, application processing, property showings, and closing deals.
This is an on-site leasing position located in Chelsea, offering a flexible schedule. Availability to work weekends is required during peak leasing seasons.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Manage the complete leasing process, including generating and qualifying leads, scheduling and conducting property showings, processing rental applications, and negotiating lease agreements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on available properties and pricing.
- Ensure resident satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or issues.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective tenants, ensuring an exceptional leasing experience from initial contact through lease execution. Generate additional business opportunities by leveraging relationships with tenants.
- Provide timely and accurate information to prospective tenants regarding available units, property features, lease terms, and pricing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local real estate market to effectively position properties and respond to tenant inquiries.
- Ensure that leasing activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure smooth tenant transitions and maintain tenant satisfaction.
- Assist in the preparation of leasing reports and tracking key performance metrics.
Qualifications :
Compensation : $65,000 – $75,000 plus other perks.
