Essential Job Functions
- Conduct property tours and showcase available apartments.
- Promptly respond to inquiries, and be knowledgeable of apartment inventory, application requirements, and building policies.
- Assist in the listing of vacant apartments, updating daily and reviewing for accuracy and quality.
- Effectively communicate the value of the community to prospective residents.
- Engage in continuous follow-up with prospects and exemplify strong closing techniques.
- Guide prospects through the application process, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Build positive relationships with prospective and current residents, along with the property management team, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the leasing office and ensuring efficient operations.
- Prepare and execute lease agreements accurately.
- Prepare leasing reporting and market surveys with the guidance of the Leasing Manager.
- Share market insight and trends with Leasing Director and Marketing team.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings.
- Must be present on-site, with the ability to move throughout the building, ensuring effective communication with tenants, staff, vendors, and visitors.
- Complete additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Real Estate Salesperson’s License.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in on-site luxury multi-family leasing OR 2 years of relevant experience in an off-site Real Estate industry role.
- Knowledgeable of the NYC residential rental market.
- Amiable demeanor with a focus on exceptional service and effective communication.
- Administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in navigating computers and Microsoft Suite.
- Experience with iLuvLeasing, On-Site, and Yardi is a plus.
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and leasing practices.
- Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
