What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk/Scheduler position at Advocare Brand?
Responsible for greeting patients upon arrival, relaying incoming telephone calls to the appropriate person, and performing assigned administrative responsibilities. Handle medical and insurance records, as well as billing and other related duties as assigned. Manage patient communications and staff calendars. Convey a positive and professional image of the Care Center to the public.
Essential Functions:
Answers incoming telephone calls in a professional manner.
Document and transfers calls to the appropriate person.
Schedule patient appointments in eCW.
Greet patients and visitors as they enter the office and notify the appropriate person of the patient’s arrival.
Collect and post co-pays and remind patients of past due balances on the day of office visit.
Prepare for and confirm patient appointments.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
One year of prior experience in a primary care medical setting preferred.
