Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Scheduler Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training all new employees, and also being part of the team by answering the phones, coordinating patient appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of communication between patients and healthcare providers. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the patient experience within our office.
Duties :
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments in a timely manner, ensuring optimal use of provider schedules.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Experience with EHR. Our software is e-clinical Works.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth operations within the office.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office is required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Knowledge of medical insurance companies and plans
- Proficient clerical skills, including data entry and document management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
